The garden needed a little bit of maintenance this morning, so spent some time watering and fertilizing all of the plants, doing a bit of weeding and cutting back some of the dead leaves from the squash and zucchini plants, which are struggling a bit with powdery mildew due to the hot and dry conditions we have been experiencing lately. While doing my rounds I noticed quite a few of the everglades tomatoes were ready to harvest, as well as one solitary summer squash which I hadn't even noticed this week. Grabbed a couple of beans as well to have in a salad later.
